PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

O Lord, help me know your will for me.
Let your light shine in the depths of my heart that I may know what you want me to do with my life.
Help me believe you have a special plan for me.
Lord, I know I pass through this life only once, help me decide to make a difference.
Like our Blessed Mother, give me the wisdom to hear your voice and the courage to answer your call.
Above all give me peace of mind and heart.
I offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Amen
Bishop Daniel M. Buechiein, O.S.B., D.D.

THANKSGIVING DAY LITURGY

On Thursday, Nov. 22nd at 9:00 AM, we will celebrate our annual Thanksgiving Day Liturgy.  On this national feast day, it is customary to give thanks for the abundant blessings bestowed on our country.

We also acknowledge with gratitude, the cultural diversity that enriches our community.  All persons from countries other than the United States are most cordially invited to participate in the gathering procession at the beginning of Mass.  Cultural attire is greatly appreciated but not a requirement.  Universal Prayers will be offered in languages other than English.

We welcome anyone who would like to participate in this festive celebration to call Martha Huggins at 805-496-7231.

OUR SYMPATHY

We offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to the families and loved ones of the following faithful departed:

For the families and friends and the innocent victims who died during the terrorists' attack, and for those who willingly gave their lives trying to help their sisters and brothers..

And for the families and friends of Monsignor James A. Dessert and Miriam Lewis.
