MOTHER'S DAY NOVENA

We will again have our Mother's Day Novena of Masses beginning on Mother's Day, May 12th, for all those mothers --- living or deceased --- whom our parish family requests to be remembered.

To have your mother, grandmother, aunt, wife, sister, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, remembered in this Novena of Masses, please write her/their names on the Intention Envelope found in the pew this weekend.  Please return this Intention Envelope by the 5:00 p.m. Mass Mother's Day afternoon.  These Intention Envelopes will be placed in front of the altar throughout the Novena, to remind us all to pray for all these wonderful women.

If the mother/woman you are remembering is alive and you would like to give her a Mother's Day Card that indicates that she is being remembered in our Novena of Masses, then please take one from the Usher/Greeters as you leave Mass today.

FIRST COMMUNION THIS WEEKEND

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion was administered last weekend and will again be administered this weekend during the Masses.  Those parishioners who normally receive Holy Communion in the main aisle are asked to allow the First Communicants and their families to receive first.  Those parishioners who normally receive Holy Communion using the side aisles should just follow normal procedures.

NEXT WEEKEND

Next weekend will be our
Monthly Respect Life Sunday.  Take a moment to stop by their tables in front of church.

It will also be
Fellowship Sunday after the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Masses and our 5:00 p.m. Mass in the patio area.  After the morning Masses, stop by for free coffee and donuts (after the 5:00 p.m. afternoon Mass, stop by for free freshly popped corn), and look over the materials about our many parish ministries and groups.

Additionally, It will  be our
special Liturgy at 9:00
a.m.
with our Children's Choir and children ministering and helping in so many ways at that Mass.
