RANCHO SAN ANTONIO
Boys Town of the West

Rancho San Antonio is the only Catholic boys' home in Southern California.  Help is provided to the boys and to their parents.  The boys are being helped with many destructive issues:  substance abuse, sexual abuse and sexually abusing boys, and boys with problems resulting from dysfunctional families.
St. Jude's Knight of Columbus are joining their brothers throughout Southern California in raising funds for this worthwhile project.
There will be an "Open House and Fiesta" at Rancho San Antonio on Sunday, May 5th.  A delicious Bar-B-Q dinner will be served.  Come support this most worthwhile cause.

RCIA NEOPHYTE RETREAT DAY

As the newly baptized and confirmed members continue their journey in the faith, they sometimes find themselves asking the question "Now What?"  Fr. Walt will be presenting a retreat day to give all Neophytes an opportunity to really focus on this question, as well as other questions often found on Neophytes lips:  "Where do I go from here?"  "How do I stay motivated in my parish community?"
This wonderful day will be on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Seminary, 1964 Las Canoas Road in Santa Barbara.
Reservations are required.  $15.00 including lunch per person.     $12.00 per person for a group prepaid.  805 - 966 - 4829.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR

The Little Sisters of the Poor invite single Catholic women between the ages of 15 and 35 to join them for a day.     Share in reflection and prayer while learning of the Sisters of the Poor ministry to the elderly poor.  This happens this coming Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Come and spend the whole day or even part of it.  No charge.

Location:  2100 S. Western Avenue in San Pedro.    Call
310 - 548 - 0625 and ask for Sister Sharon.
