JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION OF
LITURGY OF HOURS
One and all are encouraged to join in praying Morning Prayer (Lauds) each Monday through Thursday morning at 7:45 a.m. Friday morning, Morning Prayer is prayed at 7:30 p.m. during the school year. Daytime Prayer is prayed at 11:50 a.m. before the "Regina Caeli".
Copies of the "Liturgy of the Hours" are provided in large print by the front doors of the church. Anyone wishing to own his/her own copy of the "Liturgy of the Hours" in big print may buy one at the Parish Pastoral Center.

ST. JUDE'S PLAYGROUP Calling All Moms!
Please join us Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon as we share the joy of watching our children making friends and having fun within our Parish Community. WELCOME NEWCOMERS
If you are new to our parish community, please come by our Pastoral Parish Office, meet the staff and priests and register. Once registered, a member of our Newcomers Group will welcome you to St. Jude's Family and provide you with a packet including information on our many parish activities and programs.
Please join us on the first Sunday of each month after the 9:00 a.m. Mass for donuts and juice (as a gift - free) in the patio area to meet your fellow parishioners. We look forward to meeting you.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY
Volunteers are needed to become Eucharistic Ministers. Please contact Tom or Susan Mogan at 818-991-7932. Please ask Tom or Susan about special "family scheduling." (Please do not call after 8:00 p.m. in consideration of family time. Thanks for helping us be a family!)
The only requirements are: 1) you are a Fully-Initiated Catholic Christian (baptized, confirmed, and made First Communion), 2) you are "canonically" able to receive the Sacraments (if married, married in the Catholic Church), and 3) you are frequently receiving Holy Communion. Also, please register in the Pastoral Center. Schedules may be picked up in the Sacristy.

BIBLE STUDY -- "SUNDAY TO SUNDAY"
Please come join us in preparing for next Sunday's Mass. We meet to learn about and discuss the Readings for the upcoming Sunday Liturgy. Each week we watch a 20 minute video, stopping the tape at appropriate moments to discuss the material presented. We enjoy lively conversation, faith sharing moments, and good Christian fellowship, as we learn more about the Bible and are more fully prepared to celebrate next Sunday's Mass.
We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. We will study "Fifth Sunday of Easter" this week. All are welcome! No preparation! No homework!

SR. ANTONIA BIBLE CLASSES
Has Resumed
Sister Antonia Byrne has resumed her Bible Classes on the Book of Wisdom. Classes are given Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Room, and again Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall. The study of Wisdom is both very interesting and challenging.
No need to pre-register. No need for any previous Bible Study background. Come and join your sisters and brothers as we journey through this wonderful Book of the Old Testament.
