BIBLE STUDY -- "SUNDAY TO SUNDAY"

Please come join us in preparing for next Sunday's Mass.  We meet to learn about and discuss the Readings for the upcoming Sunday Liturgy.  Each week we watch a 20 minute video, stopping the tape at appropriate moments to discuss the material presented.  We enjoy lively conversation, faith sharing moments, and good Christian fellowship, as we learn more about the Bible and thereby enable ourselves to be more fully prepared to celebrate next Sunday's Mass.
We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.  We will study
"Passion Sunday" (A)" this week.  All are welcome!   No preparation!  No homework!
For more information, please contact Linda Odre at
805-373-1348, or Julie Feely at 818-889-2449.

     CHILDREN LIVING WITH PARENT

                     or Grandparent with Cancer

"Kids Circle" is a four-session program to provide support and education for children who have a parent or grandparent with cancer.  In a safe, nurturing, homelike environment, this program gives children ages 5 through 12 the opportunity to better understand what is happening in their families, and how to take care of themselves.
With the guidance of caring professionals, children learn about cancer, talk about their feelings, learn new ways to cope, learn about change and make new friendships.  This is done through play, special activities, art, discussion and music.
During the "Kids Circle", adult family members meet in a group with other adults who have similar concerns.  This program provides them with specific tools, information and support to decrease their anxiety and help them help their children cope.
This happens at the Wellness Community, 530 Hampshire Road in Westlake Village April 13, 20, 27 and May 4, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
