WESTLAKE COMMUNITY OCDS
The Westlake Carmelite Community annual Day of Prayer this coming Saturday, March 9th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Father Augustine Carter, O.Carm., will present the day and his theme will be "The Pashcal Mystery: Out of Death Comes Life".
A continental breakfast will be served followed by confession opportunities, conference, lunch, a question & answer session, and Mass. All are invited to come and participate in Carmelite spirituality.

DEANERY FOUR YOUNG ADULT DINERS' CLUB
Come and experience an opportunity for young adults (single or married couples, in late teens, 20s and 30s) to gather in an upbeat and lively social setting in order to meet other young adults and discover culinary delights. We meet this Saturday, March 9th at Mimi's Café, 400 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks at 7:00 pm. Anniversary Celebration. ST. JOSEPH'S TABLE
St. Paschal's Italian Catholic Federation is again having their annual St. Joseph's Table on Sunday, March 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
An authentic Italian dinner of pasta and sausage will be served from 4:00 to 7:00 pm both days. Tickets are $9.00 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Bakers are needed to make baked goodies (especially Italian) for this charitable event. Baked goodies can be brought to the church Saturday evening between 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., or early Sunday morning.

55 PLUS LUNCHEON & SOCIAL
Please join us on Wednesday, March the 13th for a Pot Luck Luncheon & Social. Guest speakers John and Jackie Trueting will inform us about the program "Loaves and Fishes." It will be very interesting.
We meet after the 12 noon Mass in the Parish Hall. Please bring either salad, hot or cold entree or a dessert which can be store-bought or homemade. Rolls, butter and beverages are provided.
Next month we are going to have the Game/Luncheon again. Mark that date on your calendar as well...April 10th. Let me know what you think of this!!!!

DOLORES MISSION
Dolores Mission in East Los Angeles has a great need for sleeping bags and blankets, men's shower sandals, hygenic supplies and men's clothing (jackets, shirts, pants, socks, shoes & underwear). Needed are over-the-counter flu and cold medications, canned foods, bags of rice, beans, sugar, coffee, cooking oil, condiments, etc.
Please deposit your donations at the Pastoral Center parallel to the handicapped ramp. Louisa Brennan will make sure these items are delivered to Dolores Mission as soon as possible.
The "mission vision" is to offer a safe place to all men who are faced with the realities of homelessness. The Mission tries not only to meet immediate needs of food and shelter, but to also to improve the lives of these men. Providing educational training for the development of the "whole man" and personal integration into society, Dolores Mission is a community creating change--a Catholic Parish Community seeking to live out its Baptismal commitment.
