FRIDAY LENTEN SOUP DINNER

During Lent which begins this Wednesday, St. Jude's Knights of Columbus will once again serve a Lenten Soup Dinner each Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m.  Different parish ministries and groups are joining with our Knights to put on these Soup/Salad dinners.  Dinners are served early so that participants can attend Stations at 7:30 p.m.

There is no charge for these simple Lenten Dinners.  However, donations are accepted.  Last year, over $1,600 was given to different charities to help our local poor.

Bring your whole family and make the evening complete by attending Stations afterward.  The dinner this Friday, March 1, will be prepared by the Liturgy of the Word group of our parish.

FRIDAYS OF LENT

All Fridays of Lent are Days of Abstinence.     Also, Stations of the Cross will be celebrated each Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the church.

In addition, St. Jude's Knights of Columbus along with other parish groups will be giving away a Lenten Friday Soup & Salad Dinner in the Parish Hall.

FIRST FRIDAY THIS WEEK

This Friday will be the First Friday of March.  Masses will be at 8:00 a.m. and 12:05 p.m.   Confessions will be heard Thursday afternoon and evening as usual.
