THE BOOK OF WISDOM
Sister Antonia cordially invites you to join us as we explore, learn and study the Book of Wisdom. What exactly does God reveal to us about His Wisdom? What is spiritual wisdom? How can we be wiser in the way we lead our daily lives? We are told to attain wisdom is to be close to God.
We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Room, and Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.
All are welcome! No experience necessary!
All True Wisdom Comes from God.

ARCHDIOCESAN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CONGRESS Time To Register
The Annual Archdiocesan Religious Education Congress is coming soon, and is now taking registrations. Although this Congress began as help for catechists, it has grown into a fantastic Congress for all kinds of sessions for spiritual and religious growth. There are sessions for personal growth and development for parents, for all who minister in every way in a parish. There will be over 250 workshops presented in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Sign Language. Renowned speakers from will present these workshops across the United States, Mexico, Philippines and Europe. Topics will range from personal spiritual growth to personal development to theology and to catechetics.
Thursday, February 14th, will be Youth Day. More than 10,000 high schoolers from across our Archdiocese, plus from dioceses around the State and even from Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii will participate in 13 diverse workshops, a concert, and a Eucharistic Liturgy with our Cardinal-Archbishop presiding and concelebrated by all the priests in attendance. Members of our Confirmation Program will also attend.
Sister Edith Pendergast will open the Congress on Friday morning and Cardinal Roger Mahony will close the Congress Sunday afternoon with a Eucharistic Liturgy.
During the Congress Liturgy of the Hours Morning and Evening Prayer will be prayed, plus there will be special late afternoon Eucharistic Liturgies. The Most Blessed Sacrament will be open during all Congress hours, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available throughout the Congress outside of Mass times.
Register now. Joan Nardone, our parish DRE, has Congress Booklets. You may call Joan Nardone during regular Religious Ed Office hours: 818 - 889 - 0612.

AN INVITATION
You are invited to come back home. We miss you! We are saving a place a place in a pew for you, and in our hearts. We are looking for you! We would do anything that we possibly could do, to help you come home and be part of our family again. We are praying that you can at least come and share with us what is keeping you away: Some Catholic Christian teaching? Some marriage problem? Something that someone said or did that hurt you deeply? Please consider giving us another chance! Please! We are sorry, if we drove you away! Please prayerfully have it in your heart to forgive us! We need to be whole again, but we cannot be whole without you. You are an intimate part of our parish community. We need you in order to be able to fully help us celebrate with the Lord each Sunday.
You are invited to come this Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. to the Parish Hall. Our parish community would like to extend a warm hand of welcome and say, "We miss you!" We want you to come home! Come and help us become one again!
