BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

By God's gift, through water and the Holy Spirit, the following infants were reborn this past weekend to everlasting life. May God our loving Father, Jesus, our Lord and Brother, and the Holy Spirit make them always, wherever they may be, faithful members of His holy people, the Church.

Let us welcome these new members into our parish family, and let us also congratulate their parents for sharing their faith with their children:

  Mason David Wells

OUR NEW ASSOCIATE

Father Pierre Y. Albalaa, M.L.M., is our new Associate Pastor.     He is a religious priest who is coming to us from South Africa, where he has served for the past four years as Superior of his religious community.     Father Pierre is also a Maronite Catholic priest, who has faculties to serve the Latin Catholic community in our Archdiocese as he did in Johannesburg, South Africa.       Father was born and raised in Lebanon.

We will have a Welcome Reception for Father Pierre in the Parish Hall on Sunday, February 24tth, after the 10:30 a.m. Mass.

PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS

O Lord, help me know your will for me.
Let your light shine in the depths of my heart that I may know what you want me to do with my life.
Help me believe you have a special plan for me.
Lord, I know I pass through this life only once, help me decide to make a difference.
Like our Blessed Mother, give me the wisdom to hear your voice and the courage to answer your call.
Above all give me peace of mind and heart.
I offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Amen
Bishop Daniel M. Buechiein, O.S.B., D.D.
