EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY
Volunteers are needed to become Eucharistic Ministers. Please contact Tom or Susan Mogan at 818-991-7932. (Please do not call after 8:00 p.m. in consideration of family time. Thanks for helping us be a family!)
The only requirements are: 1) you are a Fully Initiated Catholic Christian (baptized, confirmed, and made First Communion), 2) you are "canonically" able to receive the Sacraments (if married, married in the Catholic Church), and 3) you are frequently receiving Holy Communion. Also, please register in the Pastoral Center. Schedules may be picked up in the Sacristy.

ADULT CONFIRMATION
If you are an adult and out of high school, and you have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, you are encouraged to Sign-Up and take the necessary classes to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this coming April. The requirements are simple:
registering with our Dir. Of Rel. Ed., Joan Nardone; forms are available in the Pastoral Center, and then returning these forms during regular Religious Ed Office hours;
presenting a copy of your Baptismal Certificate; and
faithfully participating in the Adult Confirmation Sessions to be held in our Deanery beginning in the new year of 2002.

TRAINING FOR NEW EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
There will be a Training Session on Tuesday, January 22nd at 7:30 p.m. in the church for NEW Eucharistic Ministers. Couples with young children, please ask about our special scheduling. It is necessary to call Tom or Susan Mogan prior to 8:00 p.m. at 818-991-7932 to sign-up for training session.

ST. JUDE THE APOSTLE SCHOOL NEWS
E-SCRIP
Vons Market is now on the E-Scrip program. Each purchase you make using your Vons card provides credit for St. Jude's Parish School. All you need to do is to register by sending in an application, available in Pastoral Office. There is a one-time $10.00 registration fee.
SCRIP CERTIFICATES
All interested in purchasing Scrip Certificates to benefit our Parish School can contact Sharon Rhatigan at 818-707-2447. Sharon has the list of all participating merchants.
LABELS & BOXTOPS
We are still collecting Campbell's soup labels, and General Mills box tops. At the end of this school year, we can turn these in for free equipment and/or cash. Please continue to clip and save these labels and box tops, and bring them to the box at the front doors of the church or to the Parish School Office. Thanks!

TEAM LEADER MEETING
The first quarterly meeting of all Eucharistic Minister Team Leaders will be on Thursday evening, February 28th at 7:30 p.m. in the church. These quarterly meetings are mandatory for Team Leaders. Concerns and questions will be reviewed and discussed.

Calling All Moms! Please join us Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon as we share the thrill and joy of watching our children making friends and having fun within our Parish Community.
