Embracing Our Future"

COMMITMENT SUNDAY A MAJOR SUCCESS!

St. Jude's Catholic Community, under the leadership of Father Bill and the Executive Committee, has embarked on a campaign to renovate the church and school, and build a new Pastoral Center, which will include an auditorium, administrative offices and classrooms.

Sunday, May 6, was "Commitment Sunday," the day pledge cards were returned to the parish.   To date, May 8, the total amount pledged is $1,959,061.14.  The amount of cash received as of the same date is $$625,979.54.  The momentum is building!  If you have not returned your pledge card, prayerfully consider your participation and pledge today.

Is my pledge to St. Jude legally binding?

While the pledge is not a legal document, it is an act of faith to carry the Good News for many generations to come. It is a spiritual commitment.  What is the goal of the campaign?

The goal is to raise a minimum of $7.5 million in cash and long-term gifts.

What is "Visitation Sunday?"

If you haven't made a decision on your commitment, volunteers from your neighborhood will be visiting you at home. Parishioners are asked to stay at home between 1 and 5 p.m. and welcome these dedicated volunteers who have prayerfully donated their time and effort for the benefit of our parish-community.

When is "Visitation Sunday?"

May 20th.    Please prayerfully consider your sacrificial pledge.
Equal Sacrifice - Not Equal Gifts.

DIED IN CHRIST

Our parish community extends its most heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of those who have died this week. May God the Father welcome them into paradise. Father thank you for all the blessings you gave them in this life to show your Fatherly care for all of us. Eternal rest grant unto them and let your perpetual light shine upon them.
