ADVENT BEGINS
NEXT SUNDAY
The Season of Advent begins next weekend. Lectors are reminded that we will use Sunday Readings Year "C", and Weekday Readings Year "I", beginning this coming weekend, December 3rd.

CHRISTMAS WREATH SALE NEXT WEEKEND
Next weekend, members of Our Savior of the Mountain Mission in Lee Vining will be here selling Christmas wreaths. These wreaths are made from the beautiful blue fir spruce trees which surround the Mission property. Parishioners are trying to raise money to redo the Mission lighting, as there is not sufficient light on dark winter days.
Thanks to you, they have replaced their heating system, put in new lighting over the altar area, and put in a nice floor around the altar. You are all daily remembered in their prayers.

POINSETTIA SALE NEXT WEEKEND
Also, next weekend, the Ventura County Life Centers will be selling Poinsettias for your Christmas pleasure.
Your donation will allow the Ventura County Life Centers to continue assisting women with problem pregnancies. It will help respond to the needs of youth, and families who need counseling, goal setting, parenting skills, and material support.
