BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
By God's gift, through water and the Holy Spirit, the following infants were reborn this past weekend to everlasting life. May God our loving Father, Jesus, our Lord and Brother, and the Holy Spirit make them always, wherever they may be, faithful members of His holy people, the Church.
Let us welcome these new members into our parish family, and let us also congratulate their parents for sharing their faith with their children.

DIED IN CHRIST
Our parish community extends its most heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of those who have died this week. May God the Father welcome them into paradise. Father thank you for all the blessings you gave them in this life to show your Fatherly care for all of us. Eternal rest grant unto them and let your perpetual light shine upon them.

TODAY'S READINGS
First Reading - The prophet Elijah asks a poor widow for a drink and a bit of bread. When she shared, her meager supply is replenished (1 Kings 17:10-16).
Second Reading - Christ who died once for all to take away sin, now appears before God on our behalf (Hebrews 9:24-28).
Gospel - The widow's gift of a few cents is far greater than all the others because she gave all she had, her whole livelihood (Mark 12:38-44).
