left her convent in France and who was always so sickly many different communities of religious sisters refused to let her join them. And, who died at the very young age of 24. Yet, during her canonization in 1925, Pope Pius XI credited her with having brought many, many people in Mission Lands to the faith. As Pope Pius XI stated, St. Therese did this by offering her daily pains and difficulties and struggles for the spread of the Gospel.
Surely each of us can do as much! We too can offer up our daily pains and difficulties like this great Saint. We an also offer up our daily prayers for the spread of the Gospel of Jesus. Jesus does expect us to fulfill His Command to announce His Good News everywhere, in whichever ways that we can.
This coming weekend we are also invited to share our Catholic Faith by giving generously to the Collection for the Propagation of the Faith. These funds help train priests, religious men and women, and lay volunteers to work in the mission fields. Also, these funds help cover the minimal cost of training and maintaining catechists in priest less mission areas. In addition, these funds help build chapels, schools, hospitals, in mission fields.
Our Usher/Greeters are handing out special envelopes this weekend. For those who are tithing, this is another opportunity to share your second 5% for the good do the Lord. [5% for the parish community, 5% for other charities.] Let's let our gift this coming weekend, reflect our gratitude to God for His gift of faith to us!

MISSION SUNDAY COLLECTION NEXT WEEK
Throughout the Catholic world, next weekend we Catholic Christians recall Jesus' command to go-out and teach His Good News to all nations. Even in Mission Lands, this command is recalled this weekend.
Even though most of us will never go out personally to proclaim the Gospel, Jesus still expects us to each do our part. What is He expecting us to do? What is my part? Well, remember St. Therese of Liseux, the Little Flower, who never
