BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
By God's gift, through water and the Holy Spirit, the following infants were reborn this past weekend to everlasting life. May God our loving Father, Jesus, our Lord and Brother, and the Holy Spirit make them always, wherever they may be, faithful members of His holy people, the Church.
Let us welcome these new members into our parish family, and let us also congratulate their parents for sharing their faith with their children.

TODAY'S READINGS
First Reading - The spirit comes upon Moses and the elders, as well as Eldad and Medad. The spirit is not to be limited (Numbers 11:25-29).
Second Reading - You who have grown rich by withholding wages and other unjust means are about to be condemned (James 5:1-6).
Gospel - Anyone doing good in Christ's name is for him. Rid yourself of all that hinders spiritual development (Mark 9:38-43, 45, 47-48).

DIED IN CHRIST
Our parish community extends its most heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of those who have died this week. May God the Father welcome them into paradise. Father thank you for all the blessings you gave them in this life to show your Fatherly care for all of us. Eternal rest grant unto them and let your perpetual light shine upon them.

IS YOUR MARRIAGE IN TROUBLE?
Without attention and care, marriages wither. Couples that once thought they could live on love, slowly and quietly drift apart or find themselves being torn apart by terrible words and actions. Many are married in name only, or just stay together "for the sake of the kids." If this sounds like your marriage, "RETROUVAILLE" can help. This program, which was initiated at the request of His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, is designed to provide the communication tools needed to put suffering, troubled marriages back together. All it usually takes if the couple is willing, is this weekend with five scheduled follow-up talks.
For confidential information or to register, please call 800 - 470 - 2230 as soon as possible to begin the registration process.
