AGAPE - YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES SUPPORT GROUP
Couples meet monthly from September to June, either at St. Jude's or St. Maximilian Kolbe. Usually there is a presentation on some aspect of marriage or family life, with social time before and after each gathering as an integral part of the monthly meeting.
E-mail Prayer Chain requests are passed quickly when asked. There is also a monthly women's night-out (movie night, cookie exchange, etc.), and a men's softball game Friday night during the fall and spring, with families enjoying pizza after early games; summer camping trip, family BBQ & swim party, family beach days.
For more information about Agape, and for the 2000-2001 schedule and location please call Marilou O'Halloran at 805 494-6668.
Mission Statement: To support the Sacrament of Matrimony through learning, sharing, growing in our married relationship; upholding the sacredness and value of Family Life; acknowledging the Presence of God in our lives; and reaching-out to support one another in both fun and difficult times...through laughter, encouragement, helping, calling, listening, forgiving, praying, holding, caring in being Jesus to one another.
