CAN YOU HOST AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT??? Host an Exchange Student
Plant a seed of friendship and watch it grow as you open your home to an international Exchange Student. Every year, A.F. International School of Languages, Inc., of Westlake Village, welcomes students from all over the world who are eager to learn about the United States, its culture, language, life-style, and family-life.
All kinds of families are welcome and can be wonderful hosts. The only necessity is that the family be secure, flexible, genuinely interested in sharing their lives with a foreign student, providing the young student with love and emotional support, so that the young student can learn about American life and American family-life.
By accepting a student into your home, your family can learn about another culture and language, as well as build a life time friendship with an international son or daughter, brother or sister.
Students seeking homes are Catholics. Students stay between one (1) month and six (6) months. Host families provide room and board, and the reimbursement begins at $400.00 a month. The Exchange Student is responsible for any other expenses like clothes or spending money. A.F. International School of Languages, Inc., provides health insurance, arranges high school acceptance, and provides a 14-18 year old student from Asia, Europe or Latin America.
Interested families are encouraged to apply now to be part of this very special worldwide family partnership. For more information, please call 805 - 496 - 6694.
