EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TRAINING
Leadership Training Workshops for Eucharistic Ministers is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday evening, July 10th, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the church, and on Tuesday, July 18th, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All Eucharistic Ministers who wish to become, or to continue as, Team Leaders are required to participate in one of these sessions each year. WELCOME NEWCOMERS
If you are new to our parish community, please come by our Pastoral Parish Office to meet the staff and priests and to register. If time is of the essence, then pickup a registration form from the back of the church, fill it out and turn it in. Soon after registering, our Newcomers Hospitality will visit your home and share with you about our many parish activities, and then you can leave your imprint on who we are.
If you are interested in welcoming newcomers to our parish family, please contact Denise Ferrone at 818 - 597 - 9177 or Monica Larson at 818 - 597 - 9177.
Newcomer's Hospitality will be at the doors of the Church on the Second Sunday of each month with juice and donuts to greet all our new members. (Long established members are encouraged to visit to greet our new members.)

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS NEEDED
Anyone wishing to become a Eucharistic Minister, especially at the Sunday Noon Mass, is asked to contact Bill Rubin at 805 - 449 - 1373.
The only requirements are that you are a Fully Initiated Catholic Christian (baptized, confirmed, and made First Communion), and that you are "canonically" able to receive the Sacraments and that you are doing so.

BIBLE STUDY - Sunday to Sunday
Please come join us in preparing for next Sunday's Mass. We meet to learn about and discuss the Readings for the upcoming Sunday Liturgy. Each week we watch a 20 minute video, stopping the tape at appropriate moments to discuss the material presented. We enjoy lively conversation, faith sharing moments, and good Christian fellowship, as we learn more about the Bible and thereby enable ourselves to be more fully prepared to celebrate next Sunday's Mass.
We meet Tuesday mornings 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Due to Summer Camp the July meetings will take place at the home of Linda Odre. This week we will do the "Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time" (B)." All are welcome! Come prepare for next Sunday's Mass! No preparation! No homework!

CAN YOU HOST AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT???
Host an Exchange Student
Plant a seed of friendship and watch it grow, as you open your home to an international Exchange Student. Every year, A.F. International School of Languages, Inc., of Westlake Village, welcomes students from all over the world who are eager to learn about the United States, its culture, language, life-style, and family-life.
All kinds of families are welcome and can be wonderful hosts. The only necessity is that the family be secure, flexible, genuinely interested in sharing their lives with a foreign student, providing the young student with love and emotional support, so that the young student can learn about American life and American family-life.
By accepting a student into your home, your family can learn about another culture and language, as well as, build a life time friendship with an international son or daughter, brother or sister.
Students seeking homes are Catholics. Students stay between one (1) month and six (6) months. Host families provide room and board, and the reimbursement begins at $400.00 a month. The Exchange Student is responsible for any other expenses like clothes or spending money. A.F. International School of Languages, Inc., provides health insurance, arranges high school acceptance, and provides a 14-18 year old student from Asia, Europe or Latin America.
