The monks of St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo are here this weekend seeking funds to train their candidates and young monks.     The Benedictines of Valyermo have a unique difficulty, they have more possible vocations than they have space to house these young men or the funds available to train these candidates and young monks.

Young monks are at the doors of the church as you leave Mass today to answer any questions about St. Andrew's Abbey or about what a Benedictine monk is.     They are also there, to allow you the opportunity to see some of the young men you will be helping by your financial aid and your prayers.

Please be generous --- both with funds and prayers!      For those who are tithing, this is another example of sharing your additional 5% of the Tithe unto the Lord.
