BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
By God's gift, through water and the Holy Spirit, the following infants were reborn this past weekend to everlasting life. May God our loving Father, Jesus, our Lord and Brother, and the Holy spirit make them always, wherever they may be, faithful members of His holy people, the Church.
Let us welcome these new members into our parish family, and let us also congratulate their parents for sharing their faith with their children.

DIED IN CHRIST
Our parish community extends its most heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of those who have died this week. May God the Father welcome them into paradise. Father thank you for all the blessings you gave them in this life to show your Fatherly care for all of us. Eternal rest grant unto them and let your perpetual light shine upon them

SUPPORT CATHOLIC CHARITIES AND HAVE AN ENTERTAINING EVENING
Ventura County Catholic Charities is having a Fund Raiser on Saturday, August 19th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Moorpark College of Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $40.00 per person. "Late Night Catechism" will be the formidable comic force that evening. Full of wit, wisdom and down-to-earth humanity. You will laugh and will be touched. Sister is first-rate, a blend of John Wayne drill sergeant and Julie Andrews singing her way through the Alps. There is a Warning Attached to Attendance: "Laughter's Habit Forming!"
The Boston Playbill-Panorama Magazine said about this one woman play: "'Late Night Catechism' has caught fire like a sinner in purgatory!" Please call Leticia at 805 - 643 - 4694 to reserve your tickets.

Second Reading - Imitate the gracious act of our Lord Jesus Christ; let your abundance supply for the needs of others (2 Corinthians 8:7, 9, 13-15).
