If you are new to our parish community, please come by our Pastoral Parish Office to meet the staff and priests and to register.     If time is of the essence, then grab a registration form from the back of the church, fill it out and turn it in.      Soon after registering, our Newcomers Hospitality will visit your home and share with you about our many parish activities, and then you can leave your imprint on who we are.

St. Jude the Apostle Parish School is once again participating in the Oaks Mall "Tools 4 Schools" program.    This unique program provides educational materials to school children.  All that you need to do to help our Parish School Children, is to save the receipts of all of your purchases that you make at the Oaks Mall from now through this December 31, 2000.   Take a minute to stop at the Center Court and have them credit those receipts to our Parish School.

Except for that extra minute, it cost you nothing and you help our Parish School.   If you have any questions, please contact Kim Cummings at 805 - 496 - 2424.

"Scrip Certificates" are sold at the Parish School Office during Regular School Hours.   Credit cards are accepted.   You can obtain a complete listing of all "Scrip Certificates" available by calling Sharon at 818 - 707 - 2447.   

We are still collecting Campbell's soup labels, and General Mills boxtops.   At the end of this school year, we can turn these in for free equipment and/or cash.   Please continue to clip and save these labels and boxtops, and bring them to the box at the front doors of the church or to the Parish School Office.    Thanks!

Mark your calendars right now to attend St. Jude's 55 Plus Club this Wednesday, June 14^th, in the Parish Hall.     We will be saying "Good-Bye" to our dear friend, Irene McMillion, as she is moving to another area.   As you know we meet after the 12:05 p.m. Mass in the Parish Hall for a social and pot-luck luncheon.    This will be our last meeting till September.

You know the routine.   Bring along a homemade or store bought salad, hot dish, or dessert.    See you all Wednesday.
