CARE-GIVERS
"Respite & Renewal"
"Respite & Renewal" is a wonderful program designed to offer Care-Givers support.
We all become a Care Giver at some time during our lives. When we become a parent of an emotionally and/or physically disabled child; or we have elderly parents or relatives to care for; or we are involved in many bereavement or detention or other ministries that drain us even as we serve. From time to time we need a "Respite" and we need to be "Renewed".
This group meets every other Sunday afternoon in Rooms 3 & 4 of the Parish Hall from 1:15 to 3:00 p.m. Next gathering will today, June 4th. No dues! No fees! Just sharing and support and love.

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP
Due to illness, the Grief Support Meetings on Wednesday evenings is cancelled till further notice. St. Jude's Pastoral Office has a listing of Grief Support Organizations if you need assistance.

Calling All Moms! Please join us Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon as we share the thrill and joy of watching our children making friends and having fun within our Parish Community.
We need you to join right now so we can make our Great Circle of Caring and Sharing Friends even larger.

JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION OF
LITURGY OF HOURS
One and all are encouraged to join in praying Morning Prayer (Lauds) each morning at 7:45 a.m. You are also invited to join in praying Daytime Prayer before Noon Mass at 11:50 a.m. followed by the "Regina Caeli" during the Eastertime.
Copies of the "Liturgy of the Hours" are provided in large print by the front doors of the church. Anyone wishing to own his/her own copy of the "Liturgy of the Hours" in big print may buy one at the Parish Pastoral Center.

BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
Volunteers are needed for Survivor Visitation---follow-up. These volunteers visit families after a death in their family. These visitations happen after the burial when all who came for the funeral have returned home, and the family is alone with their grief. If you are interested in this ministry you are invited to come to the meeting on Wednesday or call Debbie Meier at 818 597-1464.

WELCOME NEWCOMERS
If you are new to our parish community, please come by our Pastoral Parish Office to meet the staff and priests and to register. If time is of the essence, then grab a registration form from the back of the church, fill it out and turn it in. Soon after registering, our Newcomers Hospitality will visit your home and share with you about our many parish activities, and then you can leave your imprint on who we are.

STOP BY THE NEWCOMER'S TABLE
Beginning today after the 9:00 a.m. Mass, the Newcomer's Hospitality Committee will serve complimentary donuts and juice for all parishioners.
All are encouraged to stop by and welcome new members to our parish community.

BIBLE STUDY - Sunday to Sunday
Please come join us in preparing for next Sunday's Mass. We meet to learn about and discuss the Readings for the upcoming Sunday Liturgy. Each week we watch a 20 minute video, stopping the tape at appropriate moments to discuss the material presented. We enjoy lively conversation, faith sharing moments, and good Christian fellowship, as we learn more about the Bible and thereby enable ourselves to be more fully prepared to celebrate next Sunday's Mass.
Tuesday mornings 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Room 7. This week we will do the "Solemnity of Pentecost" (B)." All are welcome! Come prepare for next Sunday's Mass! No preparation! No homework!
