New Eucharistic Minister candidates are welcome to take their one-time formal parish formal training tomorrow, Monday, May 22^nd, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the church.   

Please arrive early to register.   Eucharistic Ministers are needed for all weekend Masses.

Only requirements, are that you can and do frequently receive the Sacraments and are Fully Initiated.   That is, you must have received the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist.    If married, you are validly married in the Catholic Church.     

If you are new to our parish community, please come by our Pastoral Parish Office to meet the staff and priests and to register.     If time is of the essence, then grab a registration form from the back of the church, fill it out and turn it in.      Soon after registering, our Newcomers Hospitality will visit your home and share with you about our many parish activities, and then you can leave your imprint on who we are.

Please come join us in preparing for next Sunday's Mass.     We meet to learn about and discuss the Readings for the upcoming Sunday Liturgy.    Each week we watch a 20 minute video, stopping the tape at appropriate moments to discuss the material presented.   We enjoy lively conversation, faith sharing moments, and good Christian fellowship, as we learn more about the Bible and thereby enable ourselves to be more fully prepared to celebrate next Sunday's Mass.

Tuesday mornings 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in Room 7.       This week we will do the "Sixth Sunday of Easter" (B)."    All are welcome!   Come prepare for next Sunday's Mass!   No preparation!     No homework!

High school youth are invited to join with our St. Jude High Adventure Team for a Whitewater Rafting Experience on the South Fork of the American River.     The Team will travel to the river outpost camp on Monday, June 19^th, raft on Tuesday and Wednesday (camping overnight by the river), and travel back home on Thursday, June 22^nd.     The outfitter is Mariah Wilderness Adventures.

Cost per person is $205.00 which includes rafting, camping, camp food, and transportation.    It is suggested that each person brings along about $18.00 pocket money for incidentals and extra munchies.

Departure will be Monday, June 19^th, at 9:00 a.m. sharp from St. Jude's Youth Room.    We will return home to this same location Thursday, June 22^nd, about 5:00 p.m. 

Those going must be 14 years of age or older.   Details subject to change!
