ST. JUDE PARISH SCHOOL NEWS TOOLS 4 SCHOOLS
St. Jude the Apostle Parish School is once again participating in the Oaks Mall "Tools 4 Schools" program. This unique program provides educational materials to school children. All that you need to do to help our Parish School Children, is to save the receipts of all of your purchases that you make at the Oaks Mall from now through this December 31, 2000. Take a minute to stop at the Center Court and have them credit those receipts to our Parish School.
Except for that extra minute, it cost you nothing and you help our Parish School. If you have any questions, please contact Kim Cummings at 805 - 496 - 2424.
SCRIP
"Scrip Certificates" are sold at the Parish School Office during Regular School Hours. Credit cards are accepted. You can obtain a complete listing of all "Scrip Certificates" available by calling Sharon at 818 - 707 - 2447.
LABELS & BOXTOPS
We are still collecting Campbell's soup labels, and General Mills boxtops. At the end of this school year, we can turn these in for free equipment and/or cash. Please continue to clip and save these labels and boxtops, and bring them to the box at the front doors of the church or to the Parish School Office. Thanks!

TODAY'S READINGS
First Reading Peter tells the people: The author of life you put to death, but God raised him from the dead. Repent and be converted" (Acts 3:13-15, 17-19). Second Reading If anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous one. He is the expiation for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:1-58) Gospel After his resurrection, Jesus appears to his disciples. He opens their minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:35-48).
