SR. ANTONIA BIBLE STUDY - LENTEN SESSIONS

Sister Antonia Byrne, S.S.L., will lead us on a journey through this six weeks of Lent studying the Sunday Lenten Scriptures.     This will take place every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Room, and every Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.    Sister Antonia will give these sessions the week before each Sunday, so she will begin this week on March 7th and 9th.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to listen and learn more about the Readings that are presented to us during the Sundays of the Great Season of Lent.      This study has been chosen by Sister Antonia to encourage newcomers' participation.    More seasoned veterans are also most welcome.     Men, if you are wondering whether you should attend, please note that almost half of the current participants are men.     Ladies, are you going to put with that?

The question gets down to:
"If not now, then when?" Sister Antonia's Lenten Study of the Sunday Readings begins this week.

For more information, please phone Jerry or Judy Sullivan at 805 - 495 - 1623.

Our parish community extends its most heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of those who have died this week. May God the Father welcome them into paradise. Father thank you for all the blessings you gave them in this life to show your Fatherly care for all of us. Eternal rest grant unto her and let your perpetual light shine upon them.
