WELCOME NEWCOMERS


Hey! did you just move-into our parish.    Welcome!    Come meet our priests and our parish staff.    Take a few minutes to register.   Soon thereafter our Newcomers Hospitality will visit your home and share with you about our parish community.

We are still under construction so be patient, but you will find a wealth of information about St. Jude's Community and what we have to offer on our new web site.

Mass and confession schedules, holydays, information about workshops and classes, religious education, youth ministry, our gift shop and much more. If you forgot to take home a copy of your bulletin you will find it on the web!

We will be able to update your registration and send you contribution statements upon request. In order to do this, however, we need your e-mail address. Please send it to marie@stjudeswv.org so we can include it in your file.

NEED A RELIGIOUS ARTICLE


Come by our Parish Pastoral Center during regular hours and look over the many religious articles we have for sale.   Among the items we have are:   medals, rosaries, wedding candle sets, arras (wedding coins), lazos (wedding rosary lassos), angels, some devotional books, cards for special occasions, etc.     We can also order special gifts you might wish.

ST. JUDE THE APOSTLE PARISH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE


Our Parish School will have its Annual "Open House" on Sunday, January 30th, from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon.

ST. JUDE THE APOSTLE PARISH SCHOOL REGISTRATION
for School Year 2000-2001


Our Parish School will take registrations for grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade on Sunday, February 6th, in the Parish School Office from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.   

Please bring along a copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate, and  your Parish Sunday Envelope number.     For grades One through Eight, please bring your child's previous school records.     For Kindergarten, please bring your child's Pre-School Evaluation.

ST. JUDE'S PARISH SCHOOL $10,000.00
SUPER DRAWING


 St. Jude the Apostle Parish School is sponsoring a $10,000.00 Super Drawing.    Only 300 tickets will be sold for this Drawing.      Thus, your chances of winning are 1-in-300 for winning the $10,000.00 prize.

The proceeds from this $10,000.00 Super Drawing will go towards the implementation of a Science/Resource Center for St. Jude the Apostle Parish School.     

Buying one of the 300 Tickets is an excellent way to support

our Parish School, while enjoying excellent odds toward a truly fantastic prize!

SCRIP

"Scrip Certificates" are sold at the Parish School Office during Regular School Hours.   Credit cards are accepted.   You can obtain a complete listing of all "Scrip Certificates" available by calling Sharon at 818 - 707 - 2447.   

LABELS & BOXTOPS


We are still collecting Campbell's soup labels, and General Mills boxtops.   At the end of this school year, we can turn these in for free equipment and/or cash.   Please continue to clip and save these labels and boxtops, and bring them to the box at the front doors of the church or to the Parish School Office.    Thanks!

SANDWICHES FOR LAS FAMILIAS AND IMPACTO

Sandwiches for Las Familias and Impacto will be made Monday, January 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the parish hall. 

The gift for this month will be tooth brushes and tooth paste.
